SCIENCE BEHIND RED LIGHT
Activate your biology with light
Red light photobiomodulation (630–660 nm) and near-infrared (810–850 nm) delivers photons that penetrate the skin and reach tissues and mitochondria. It is a non-UV, non-invasive energy, well tolerated for frequent use.
In the mitochondria, photons interact with cytochrome c oxidase, release nitric oxide and optimize the respiratory chain. As an effect, ATP synthesis increases — the cellular "currency" — and oxidative stress is reduced.
The combination of red light (surface, collagen) and near-infrared (deeper tissues, muscle and joints) improves microcirculation, modulates inflammation and accelerates tissue recovery.
